      The gPro Model Document

      How to access, read, and interpret the output document of your gPro order.

      Download the gPro Model Document

      You can download the gPro Model Document in two ways:

      Order-Inclusive Document (All Jobs in an Order)

      1. Navigate to the Order Summary Page for the order.
      2. Click Download as... and select Docx or PDF.

      Job-Specific Document (Single Job in an Order)

      1. Navigate to the Job Summary Page for your model.
      2. Click Download Summary.

      Document downloads as a Docx file. For details on the Job Summary Page, see Where's My 3D Model, Map, and Oblique Views: the Job Summary Page.

      Reading your gPro Model Document

      Roof Model

      Here you find your model’s wire frame overlayed against overhead imagery with distance and area measurements displayed. A legend for edge markings can be found below in the Edge Measurements section of your gPro Model Document.

      Occasionally, area and edge measurements may overlap each other on the image. If you would like to reposition or adjust you wire frame against oblique imagery, visit the Oblique tab on the Job Summary Page and consult our article: Where’s my 3D Model, Map, and Oblique Views: the Job Summary Page.

      Edge Measurements

      This table displays the edge type, its total length on the model, and the color it corresponds to on the wire frame. Three of these edge types will not appear on your wire frame. Read below to understand what these edge types are and how they are calculated:

      Drip Edge

      Metal flashing installed along the edges of a roof to direct water away from the fascia and into the gutters.

      Eave + Rake length

      Ice & Water

      Waterproof membrane installed beneath vulnerable areas on a roof (eaves and valleys).

      Eave + Valley length

      Ridgecap

      Specialized layer of roofing material installed along the peaks of where two sloping roof facets meet.

      Hip + Ridge length

      Facet Area Measurements

      This table displays the area of facets grouped by material. It also notes whether any facets are 26.0 ft. or higher above ground level. Next to it is a wire frame of your model with each facet’s area displayed.

      Facet Pitch Measurements

      This table displays the pitch of facets grouped by material. It also notes whether any facets are 26.0 ft. or higher above ground level. Next to it is a wire frame of your model with each facet’s pitch displayed.

      Oblique Views

      Here you’ll find four oblique images of your building, if available. These images are captured from the north, east, west, and south perspectives. gPro customers will also see a wireframe overlaid on the imagery.

      Order Summary

      This page provides a structured overview of key measurements and visual references, including:

      • Edge Totals: Edge, Color, Length
      • Facet Measurements: Material, Pitch, Area, Above 26 ft2
      • Area with Waste Factor: Calculations at 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% waste levels
      • Overhead View: Image with a model wireframe overlay
