Order a Geospan Roof Estimate through Xactimate

Note: if have not already integrated Geospan with Xactimate, read our article here.

Create a New Claim Project

  1. Select + New project.
  2. Name the project and select Create.
  3. Open your project and input your claim information. This will open an external application.
  4. Select Save and Exit when you are done.

Request Geospan Data

  1. Select (but do not open) the appropriate project.
  2. Select Request Data from the right-hand navigation bar (see icon below). This brings you to the Verisk Claims Solutions tab.
  3. Select New Order > Next, if it is not already selected.
  4. In the provider dropdown, select Geospan.
  5. Request your service from Geospan by selecting Roof.
  6. Fill out any remaining information and select Submit.

You have successfully ordered with Geospan. Xactimate will notify you when the data is ready for viewing.

Import Data into Project

  1. Open your completed project.
  2. Navigate to Estimate > Sketch. You should find a blank workspace.
  3. In the upper left-hand corner, select the import icon (see below).
  4. Select the desired Geospan data, then Import. If successful, your Geospan roof model and estimate table will populate in the Sketch workspace.
